Audray Julien
Audray Julien is attracted to a multidisciplinary arts practice very quickly. The study of music, literature and movement through artistic gymnastics and dance became indispensable from a very early age. Feeling her passion for dance taking shape, she completes the pre-university program at Cégep de Drummondville in 2012 and then at L’École de danse contemporaine de Montréal in 2015. It is within this establishment that she will have the chance to approach the work of many choreographers, including Mélanie Demers, O Vertigo, Lina Cruz, the French collective (LA) Horde, Frédérick Gravel and Caroline Laurin-Beaucage/Martin Messier. Since her graduation, she has worked with the Castel_Blast collective, the company Parts+Labour Danse, the company 14 Lieux/ Martin Messier, and PPS Danse, among others. Audray wishes to invest herself in projects that exude both poetic and physical power.
