Élise Bergeron
Élise Bergeron studied at LADMMI, l’école de danse contemporaine, from which she graduated in 2010 and was awarded the Sofia Borella bursary. Since graduating, she has worked with Emmanuel Jouthe ( Cinq Humeurs and Écoute pour voir ), Katia-Marie Germain ( Aube ), Alain Francoeur ( En quête d’une ville ), Lynda Gaudreau ( Out of Grace ) and Cassiopée Danse ( Sa tête a rencontré un mur ), among others. She is a performer and choreographer with Atypique-Le Collectif, a member of Les Imprudanses and a recent apprentice with Bouge de là! With her long-time acolyte Philippe Poirier, she created and presented the pieces Strictement {a}statique (Tangente, 2013) and Alliage Composite (Danses Buissonnières et Émergences Chorégraphiques, 2012) (OFFTA, 2013). Her choreographic work is presented on several occasions as part of the Zone Homa event (2010 to 2013). In summer 2010, she conceived Parcours, marathon d’improvisation, an annual in situ improvisation event.
