Alexandre Carlos

Alexandre has been training in a variety of styles since 1996. In 2010, he graduated from the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal and continued his training by taking several workshops, including LAUNCH with NW Dance Project in Portland in 2018 and Springboard Danse Montréal in 2010.
From 2010 to 2016, Alexandre worked for the Cas Public company, taking the time to diversify by working with other choreographers such as Virginie Brunelle, Peter Chu, Geneviève Dorion-Coupal, Kyra Jean Green, Emmanuel Jouthe, Anne Plamondon, Tedd Robinson, Pierre-Paul Savoie and Andrew Skeels. During 2019, he dances for projects with Les 7 doigts de la main, Cirque du Soleil and Opéra de Québec. Alexandre is a member of the duo Alex & Alex, finalists in the second season of Révolution and finalists in the 15th season of La France a un incroyable talent. He is also a member of the group The AAAS', with whom he took part in the televised auditions for America's Got Talent.
Alexandre has been choreographing, teaching and giving workshops for various schools in Quebec since 2006. He is co-choreographer of Morphose, a piece created for Ballet Contemporain du Nord. He is also choreographer and co-founder of La Compagnie d'Été, which presented Kaléïdoscope in 2015 and Emprise in 2017. Alexandre created his first work Bourrasques, presented in September 2015 as part of the Festival Quartiers Danses program. He is co-choreographer and performer with Roxane Duchesne-Roy for the short film Carte Mère sous un opus by Catherine Major.
