A native of Sept-Îles, Marilyne Cyr completed her performance training at the École supérieure de ballet du Québec in 2014. She has danced with Groupe RUBBERBANDance, circus company Les 7 doigts de la main, Compagnie Marie Chouinard, Ballet Ouest de Montréal, Andrea Pena & Artists, and Opéra de Québec. Marilyne has worked with many emerging choreographers for stage and video dance, including Vanesa Garcia (Grands Ballets Canadiens), Eva Kolarova, Geneviève Gagné, Kunal Ranchod, Kaitlyn Ramsden, Pauline Gervais, Olivia St-Jacques, Charles-Alexis Desgagnés, Nicholas Bellefleur-Bondu and Vanessa Brazeau. Marilyne has also appeared in TV shows and music videos. 

Grateful for these rich and varied experiences, they have taken Marilyne to several cities in Quebec, the United States, France, Serbia, Lithuania and Belgium. In addition to working with PPS Danse, Marilyne currently dances with Sylvain Émard Danse, Skeels Danse and Ampleman Danse.
