Roxane Duchesnes-Roy

Roxane Duchesne-Roy is a passionate artist with a diploma in classical dance-interpretation from the École Supérieure de Ballet du Québec. She dances on national and international stages with companies such as Cirque du Soleil, Les 7 doigts de la main, PPS Danse, Cas Public, L'Opéra de Montréal, Fleuve Espace Danse, Human Playground... In 2011, she co-founded the Le Broke Lab collective and collaborates with over 62 choreographers and multidisciplinary creators. Given her passion for music, she also performs as a singer and percussionist in certain productions. She was a dancer in the first season of TVA's “Révolution” television dance competition, and acted as coach, repetiteur and consultant for subsequent seasons. She is a cast member of several short films, including “Sur la ligne” and “La boite noire” by Mas Vidéo Film, as well as “Training Session” by director Christian Lalumière. In 2018, she co-produced and co-directed the dance video “Bain libre” with the Flamant collective. In 2020, she is co-choreographer, collaborating director and performer on Catherine Major's medium-length film “Carte Mère”. Recently, as co-director, co-producer, co-choreographer, performer and artistic director, she presented the short film “ENTRE NOUS”.
