Strata, mémoire d’un amoureux
A multi-media dance performance, Strata, mémoires d’un amoureux offers a lucid reflection on the meaning of our existence and questions the relativity of time. It offers insight into the various stages of human life, the relationships between different age groups and contemporary perceptions of the elderly. Strata is a stunning performance that fuses dance with visual environments and interactive sound, creating a dynamic balance between art and technology.
Synopsis
A man and a woman evolve between two periods of their existence. They are 70, and they are 30.
The spectator infiltrates an artist couple’s intimacy at the decrescendo of their life. She, a musician, he, a geologist, question and challenge us about their present, about their future … Journey to the heart of their memory, they deliver fugitive moments arising from their unconscious. Childhood memories, encounters, anecdotes between daily and professional life collide randomly in their reflexions.
At the mercy of an eroded memory, time accelerates and life fades, erasing the colors of existence itself.
