Perles
Perles proposes a non-linear narrative through time, words and music that mark our society. This journey invites dance and music to meet in different places, to make some pearls of the Quebec song repertoire resonate, from the 1960s to today.
Bringing together dancers, musicians and singers on stage, this PPS Danse project is once again part of a desire to create links between disciplines and to integrate several choreographic signatures. A fine work of crossing and overlapping, these multiple views converge towards a narrative that tells our world by evoking the themes of love, identity and territory at different times. Thus, a diversity of melodic and choreographic writings are at one with the words and music to open up a fruitful field of possibilities.
