Corps Amour Anarchie / Léo Ferré presented in Europe for a second consecutive year
As the series of performances produced as part of the Conseil des arts de Montréal en tournée comes to an end (don’t miss the last two on November 21 and 22), PPS Danse is pleased to expand its international distribution network by launching for a second consecutive year the journey to Europe with its show Corps Amour Anarchie / Léo Ferré. Designed and directed in 2016 by Pierre-Paul Savoie to mark the 100th anniversary of the great poet, the show co-produced with Coup de cœur francophone has been a great success since its creation and continues to dazzle with the uniqueness of its proposal. The show is presented at the Maison de la culture d’Arlon, Belgium, on November 12, and at La Bouche d’Air de Nantes (France), on November 14. Ten performers carry and embody Ferré’s words on stage with originality, strength and complicity. We look forward to meeting the European public again. – With Bïa, Alexandre Désilets, Betty Bonifassi (singers); Alexis Dumais (pianist); Sébastien Cossette-Masse, Marilyne Cyr, Sara Harton, David Rancourt and Lila-Mae Talbot (dancers), on choreographies by Hélène Blackburn, Alexandre Carlos, Emmanuel Jouthe, Anne Plamondon, David Rancourt and Pierre-Paul Savoie.
