First of ATTRACTIONS

PPS Danse and Sacré Tympan are pleased to announce the first performance of ATTRACTIONS, their new creation. The premiere will take place at the Maison de la culture Claude-Léveillée on October 24, 2019, at 8 p.m.
Hybridization between dance and music, the chemistry of a captivating collaboration, Attractions is carried by two dancers and two musicians who invest and invert their usual roles.
Opposite and complementary, the performers explore the zones and interactive forces of their respective languages by multiplying cross-over chases, opening up new scenic perspectives. How are space and time shared? How is the musicality of the dancers expressed in contact with an instrument and, conversely, that of the musicians in relation to the dance? How do they interpret the notions of fluidity, rhythm, tempo, silence, execution? Here the voices, the melodic lines, the choreographic tracings compose the fragments of a magnetic encounter between dance and music.
