About

❝ cultivating a taste for dance ❞

Founded in 1989, initially under the direction of Pierre-Paul Savoie, then David Rancourt, the company promotes humanist values based on sharing and commitment, emphasizing the creative aspect of each new production.

Today, by focusing on three major categories: young audiences, general audiences and cultural mediation, PPS Danse has established itself as a pillar of Quebec's dance community. The organization's repertoire includes over thirty works, and PPS Danse has given more than 1,000 performances in some fifteen countries in America, Europe and Asia. Regardless of the creative cycle to which they belong, these productions are all marked by multidisciplinarity in their form and humanity in their content.

The company's artistic vision is based on the principle of encounter: between artists, artistic materials and languages, works of art, communities and audiences. The meeting grounds explored by PPS Danse are diverse, but all converge towards the same goal: to enable discovery and cultivate a taste for dance among young and adult audiences.
